Hi! I'm Matthew!
(also known as Tsz Lok!)
I'm your easy-going, happy go lucky, wedding photographer, based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. I'm a lover and follower of Jesus, born in Hong Kong but grew up in Northern Ireland (people in England always get surprised when I start speaking 👀). I'm married to my lovely wife Roise back in 2023 - so feel free to ask me anything about wedding prep, I’ve been there!
My favourite way to get to know someone is by hanging out over a good meal (Korean BBQ anyone?), coffee or a board game! I'm pretty big into anime & MCU-related shenanigans and reading books on theology. I'm also a bit of a crier (which doesn't help during ANY wedding) and my definition of a good movie is if it can give me a good cry.
My journey into photography was in my teens, when my parents got an old DSLR camera, which I literally played with ALL the time - especially while travelling! Eventually that love of photography, and being known for having my camera with me at all times, led to a friend asking me to photograph their wedding day.
I loved that day so much. Just knowing that those would be photos they'd look back on for the rest of their lives made me realise how important capturing moments are. And so since then, I've not looked back!

My brother and I share the same birthday... we're not twins though!

君の名は (Kimi no Na wa) or Your Name by Makato Shinkai. Words cannot describe how much I love this film!

Violet Evergarden - The Movie (I sobbed at least 5 times in my first watch through 😭)
Favourite Food(s):
1. Sushi

Cats or Dogs?
DOGGOS all the way, although my favourite animal are actually pigs 🐷!
Weird Talent:
I can do a REALLY good cat impression. Specifically a kitten

Articulate - WARNING I might get a bit too competitive if I play this though.
My Kinda Weekend:
Probably one where I can have a slow morning reading with a cup of coffee, with some Jazz or Lofi in the background 😍
