An Autumn Wedding in the Wirral
Isabel & Patch's had a lovely fun-filled wedding in September in the humble borough of the Wirral! The ceremony took place in St. Andrew's Church, Bebington and their reception at the Barnstonedale Center.
A Stunning Church Ceremony
I had the pleasure of shooting Isabel & Patch's fun & relaxed wedding in September. The ceremony took place in St. Andrew's Church Bebington. It had was a grand and stunning church, with space for some lovely photos in the garden area after the ceremony. There was even a little lamp-post that inspired the great C.S Lewis himself to write The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe! If you’re after a Church wedding space near Liverpool which doesn’t require much decoration or styling, this is the one for you!
Homemade Dress Paired with Crocs!
Isabel spotted a lovely homemade wedding dress, put together by the best seamstress a bride could have, her mum! Isabel paired it with some chic crocs (at least I would call them that!). Patch later wore his sage green Crocs to the dance floor so they could show off their moves!
A fun-filled Reception
I&P's reception took place at the Barnstonedale Center. Normally it's used as a youth activity center (where both I&P had memories there growing up!), but I&P did such a magnificant job decorating it with so lots of homemade decor! They even decorated the mini golf course! Honestly, there were so many great activities through the day, it was impossible to do them all! But not only were guests well entertained, they were well fed with some Italian-inspired food, with a Charcutrie platter for a shared starter, roasted chicken breast with some tomato sauce and a selection of desserts such as Tiramisu! In the late evening there was even Pizza! An absolute feast!
Final Thoughts
All in all, I&P's wedding was one that I absolutely loved from start to finish. It was such a privilege to be able to not just capture their engagement photos but their big day. I had so much fun too, and loved all the little initimate moments I got with them (even getting to drive them back to their hotel after their wedding!). It was an amazing and beautiful day not only where they celebrated their new marriage but the God that they lovingly follow, and as Patch said in his speech the God whose love their marriage ultimately points to!
